You need to assign the newly created connection to the Information Sources that you want to access it. To accomplish this do the following:

1. Under the Tools tab, in the Data group click Information Sources.
2. Select the Information Source to which you want to assign the connection.
3. Under the Inforomation Sources tab, in the Information Source group click Edit.
4. Select Manage Connections.
5. Check the box(es) next to the connection(s) that you want to assign to the Information Source.
6. Click OK.
