If you are referring to the grid view you can hide a column by checking the box next to the field in the fields list. If you are talking about another section within Faceforward please explain further.

Felicia,

When you place a field into the Column drop are of a pivot it will create a column for every distinct data value in that field. If you want to hide a particular value of a field you have placed in the pivot column drop area you will need to filter. Say I have Salesperson placed in the Column drop area and I do not want to show John, one of my salespeople. To accomplish this do the following:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Select the field from the Fields Pane.
    • Select the field header from a drop area.

NOTE Clicking once on a field header will select it, continued clicking will sort the field.

  1. Under the Field tab, in the Filter & Sort group, click Filter.
  2. In the list, click the checkbox next to John.
  3. Click OK.

Best Regards,
Dave
