Software in upcoming releases and to show our commitment to constant quality improvement.

What’s in store for v3.0?
- Memory usage and footprint
We know that memory footprint is one of the most important perspectives for any
application and we are constantly trying to reduce it. In this release, the memory
usage for the pivot and chart is greatly reduced.
- Enhanced charting
Chart appearances have been improved along with overall ease of use. The chart drop
areas have been repositioned to below the column and row drops to provide more consistency
between view types. We have added a color heat map option that will color data points
based on a numeric field and a defined color gradient.
- Streamlined installation and setup
With the new Faceforward Software Unified Installer deploying our software just
got easier. We have added security tests to help identify if particular machine
security settings are configured properly and how to correct them.
- Data merging
The long wait is over! Merge multiple information sources together into one seamless
view with the new data merging feature.
- Expression engine redesign
To make the expression engine easier to use we made the function descriptions and
examples more readily visible.
- Improved appearances
Want to have low-level control of how a view looks visually? Now you can with the
new appearance editor. Modify background colors, borders, headers, alignment, and
much more.
We operate in a dynamic environment and things may change. The Roadmap portrays our
willingness to provide certain features; however, it all depends on shifts in our
customers' needs and our capability to deliver high quality products. The Roadmap
only intends to give you basic information as to what you can expect in future releases.
